By providing multi-disciplinary middle and high school programs in media, visual and the performing arts, SAY Sí connects students to their creative passions early, allowing youth to build pre-professional competencies that provides clear advantages to them as they progress through their higher educational goals. Our 9-year success rate is astounding with 100% of SAY Sí students graduating from high school and attending college!
SAY Sí’s reciprocal and peer-to-peer learning philosophy provides a unique framework for learning and builds a community of practice: artists, teachers and students work collaboratively in an open studio environment with a shared responsibility for leading and taking part in the learning experiences.
SAY Sí is tuition-free for all students, with a focus on the urban core of San Antonio. Our programs have always been tuition-free, as we believe there should be no financial barrier for superior arts education, but our first priority has always been to serve the inner-city and economically disadvantaged youth. This commitment allows youth from all sectors of our city to take part and provides a significant arts community where stereotypes are broken and common interests are valued.
