Interested in becoming a SAY Sí student? Our upcoming student recruitment dates are:

Teatro ALAS, High School Media Arts, Visual Arts and WAM,
our middle school program: May 12-24, 2008

SAY Sí recruits new students three times a year during the Spring, Summer and Fall. Students are eligible for SAY Sí at NO COST as long as they have parental/guardian permission, reliable transportation, are in middle school or high school [public, private or home school] and maintain a minimum C average. Students must also commit to attending the program regularly [at least 8-10 hours per week for high school] and long-term, complete projects in a timely manner and be a positive influence in the studio.

Please note, applying and interviewing for our programs is not a guarantee of acceptance. Many criteria’s must be met. Unfortunately we often receive many more applicants then we have room for. While SAY Sí accepts diverse students from all areas of town, first priority is give to students from San Antonio’s inner city and from low economic households.

To apply students need to complete the following steps:
Step 1 - Read SAY Sí's Student Code of Conduct
Step 2 - Download and complete the Student Information Form
Step 3 - Call 210.212.8666 to set up an interview, bring a portfolio of artwork and the latest report card to the interview.
In return, SAY Sí offers students state-of-the-art equipment and work spaces, instruction by professional instructors, high-quality materials for all projects, structured projects, collaboration and exhibition opportunities to financially benefit from their talents and a framework to develop social and entrepreneurial skills. Also, students that attend SAY Sí’s middle school program have the option of applying for the high school programs upon entering the ninth grade.
